Training Opportunities for Shelters and Rescues

Training is an important part of any industry and animal welfare is no exception. Often limited by time and budget, continued learning opportunities and training can be difficult for those working in animal shelters and rescues. However, it is important to stay up to date in training about shelter best practices, fundraising, and more.

PetBridge has compiled some training resources from several different organizations that might be of benefit to your animal shelter or rescue. Below are some of the training opportunities for shelters and rescues that your organization might be interested in utilizing.

Taking Action for Animals Online Training

September 19-20, 2020

This is a class for shelter and rescue workers and their volunteers or anyone in the community interested in ending animal cruelty. The early bird rate is $15 and the training will help those interested in learning more about how to protect animals. Sessions include how to end puppy mills, fur farms, factory farming, and testing cosmetics on animals.
