PetBridge received a wonderful thank you and gift card from Avery’s Pawsitive Change. Avery is a 14-year-old who loves animals and started a mission in March 2020 to send gift cards to shelters across the country.

Of the 70 million stray animals in the United States, only 6 to 8 million end up in animal shelters. Due to shelter overpopulation, however, 50 percent of these adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized each year (Humane Society).
